As a lyricist I love to update songs where better words will be appreciated.
Christmas songs that miss the true meaning of Christmas are an ideal place to make things better. So that’s what I’ve done with a couple of songs. Here I’m sharing with you my updated version of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. I’ll also do a post with my updated version of Silver Bells.
I’ve created a simple demo version, with lyrics and vocal track, done on the fly, using my phone and my clumsy piano playing. It’s enough to introduce the song to you, so you can use it in your own setting, with your own vocalists and musicians – and arrangers, and audio engineers, and all that.
